Quote Specialist
ConexSmart, LLC ConexSmart, LLC Conifer, CO Conifer, CO Full-time Full-time $25 - $30 an hour $25 - $30 an hour The Quote Specialist works closely with the Programs/Business Development team to prepare and execute quotes and proposals.
This position will receive and evaluate requests for proposals/quotes and be responsible for creating, managing, and evaluating supplier quotes for multiple quote packages.
Responsibilities:
Understands, tracks, and supports project schedule requirements Coordinates and issues request for quotes and proposals to bidders, evaluates vendor and subcontractor proposals and contract terms, manages negotiations, and presents final contract award recommendations Coordinates technical reviews of quotes with engineering technicians Reviews, and obtains approval of any deviations from project-specific terms and condition or deviations from technical data Maintains positive relationships with vendors and subcontractors Manages bid and proposal documentation, capturing all vendor and subcontractor status updates for each project Validates material types and quantities from engineering drawings and organizes data in applicable spreadsheets per management system requirements Performs special projects and other duties as requested Required Experience Excellent computer Skills Familiar with MSOffice programs, proficiency with Excel, resourceful in finding information online 2-years experience related to procurement and/or customer service Previous experience with supplier and subcontractor relationships, Request for Proposal solicitation, quote evaluation and recommendation, terms and conditions negotiations, vendor management Inside sales experience a plus Education High School Diploma or GED Job Type:
